• Your text: We do not collect it. All text processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. No text you enter is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Google Analytics uses cookies and may process identifiers such as your IP address; while this does not directly identify you, it may be considered personal information under some laws.

5. Your text data — privacy guarantee

This is the most important section for most users. When you paste or type text into any Virtual Text Tools utility:

• The text is processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript
• No text is sent to our servers, to Google, or to any other party
• No text is stored in cookies, local storage, or any persistent mechanism
• When you close the tab, all text is permanently gone

You can verify this yourself using your browser's developer tools (Network tab) — you will see no outgoing requests containing your text.

6. Children's privacy

Virtual Text Tools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data retention

Since we do not collect your text data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 26 months per Google Analytics' default retention settings.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• The right to access personal data we hold about you
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and of personalized advertising
• The right to opt out of analytics and advertising cookies, and to withdraw consent at any time
